About Dr Bilquis
Born in the stunning mountains of Chitral, Pakistan, Dr. Bilquis Shaikh now widely known as The Herbal Queen developed a deep connection with nature and herbal healing from a young age. Her innate curiosity for natural remedies shaped a lifelong journey dedicated to holistic wellness.
To pursue her passion, she earned her Doctor of Alternative Medicine (AMD) from Colombo, Sri Lanka, and later advanced her knowledge with formal studies in homeopathy in Pakistan. With a vision to offer effective, nature-inspired solutions, she launched Pure Roots in 2009 a brand committed to authentic, result-driven herbal wellness.

Dr. Bilquis's Journey :
Dr. Bilquis’s journey reflects resilience and passion. Born in 1973 in Karimabad, Chitral, she completed her early schooling there before moving to Karachi. Even as a child, she had a remarkable understanding of herbs, often using them to soothe ailments in people and animals. Though her father hoped she would pursue conventional medicine, her fear of medical procedures led her to the world where she truly belonged natural healing.
After completing her Arts degree in Karachi, she followed her calling into herbal medicine, earning her D.A.M. in Sri Lanka in 2005 and a D.H.M.S. certification after four years of homeopathic study. With over 15 years of professional practice, she has successfully treated numerous conditions from skin and hair concerns to infertility, arthritis, digestive issues, and overall wellness all through herbal methods.
